How Jens Verlaat ended up at TV Total...

After seeing managing director Jens Verlaat in the leading role in our commercial "Super-Verlaat“ on the local TV station, HH1, one of our staff said spontaneously, that this clip would be ideal for "TV Total" on Pro7.
A member of staff emailed the clip to TV Total and it actually did end up finding its way to the editors.

The result of a subsequent lively discussion between employees of JENS VERLAAT SERVICES GmbH and TV-Total was an invitation for the, up till that point, completely clueless CEO to come to Cologne to record the programme!
Luckily he did not won the "Raab of the Week", but one can see »here that both Jens Verlaat and Stefan Raab really enjoyed the event.

That Verlaat's "hanseatic blood" also made headlines far from the gates of Hamburg only came to the attention of Jens Verlaat when he received a phone call from TV producer Ulli Potofski.
